Director of GRID Architects

Craig Casci is a founding director of GRID Architects - a new company that evolved from the housing and urbanism group which he set up in 2000 while at Hamiltons. A graduate of Edinburgh University and Architectural Association, Craig started his career undertaking community housing design before moving to work on large commercial projects in Westminster and the City of London. Craig lived (and worked on large mixed use schemes and masterplans) in Singapore and Australia before returning to London to work for architects such as Farrells and SBT. He led large projects from science parks to transport interchanges and was the lead masterplanner for the city extension of Schenzen, China, in 1994.

Craig campaigned with developers to bring new housing into central London with projects such as the first masterplan of Putney Wharf, and W1 House in Westminster. His other projects include the luxury development of Montrose Place near Belgrave Square, and Brewery Square in Clerkenwell, which won 11 awards and cemented Hamiltons' reputation as residential architects.
