Co-founder and Director at
Fiona Livingston is a co-founder and director of Studiofibre, a multi-disciplined design
company established in 2007, based just outside London in the Chiltern Hills.
A degree in art history at Nottingham University and an early career in creative marketing
exposed her to a wealth of artistic diversity, helping develop an analytical approach
towards design which allowed Fiona to move into the world of commercial interior design as a
fully rounded creative.
Fiona spent 6 years as creative director at a commercial interior design company before
setting up her own successful design business, 'Fibre' in 2002, with an industry portfolio
including interior design projects for Endemol TV, Yakult, Rolls-Royce, Shroders, The Home
Office and BAA.
Studiofibre is a young vibrant, evolving design studio with a portfolio of projects that
encompass a broad range of sectors. Projects range from commercial and residential interior
design and architecture, to bespoke furniture and product design and production, including
contract furniture & fittings specification and procurement.
The Company philosophy emphasizes creativity of thought and the pursuit of a ‘non-style’
through the notion that every design solution derives itself form the micro-specifics of a
particular brief, site context and budget mixed with the macro-specifics of a wider social
and cultural setting.
Notable projects include Agent Provocateur HQ in London and the current portfolio of
workspace environments for the online fashion empire Net-A-Porter in the UK and USA.
