Neil's career spans twenty years in various UK and international FM and property roles in a variety of sectors, on both the supply and demand side. For the past six years he has worked as General Manager of Group Property at Rio Tinto. In this role he has established and led a team responsible for the group's global property portfolio including the delivery and management of creative, energised and flexible workplaces in all key metropolitan locations, and management of the change from existing environments to the new. Major projects have been completed in London, Paris, Salt Lake City, Johannesburg, Singapore and Brisbane, with projects underway in London (re-development), Montreal, Singapore and Perth.
Neil studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Southampton before going on to complete an MSc in Information Technology at Birmingham's Aston University. Neil actively tweets and blogs about work, the workplace, HR and social business and speaks at conferences and debates on the subject of the workspace.
