Associate, Tony Fretton Architects.
David joined Tony Fretton Architects in 2002 from his role as Project Director at Harper Mackay. An Associate since 2007, he is responsible for significant projects within the office, including the New British Embassy in Warsaw (Detail Prize, 2011), the Andreas Ensemble development, and De Prinsendam (RIBA European Awards, 2011) in the Netherlands. He is currently Project Associate for the New Town Hall and Administrative Centre in Deinze, Belgium.
David has also managed arts and cultural projects, such as the Arts Council of England Galleries and Sculpture Store at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and exhibition and publication design.
He runs a final year degree studio at Kingston University with Michael Lee; where, in the academic year 2011-12 the focus has been on the social condenser, public space and legacy.
