David Cole has a keen interest in design being a tool for positive social change and as such set up Building Trust an NGO dedicated to offering design services to those individuals or charitable organisations that are most in need. David's professional background includes working on art projects for Thomas Heatherwick, to designing football stadiums with Populous (formally HOK.) He has a high level of experience working on urban design and master planning projects within the UK working alongside and managing a wide range of stakeholders in the completion of large scale infrastructure projects. With an affinity for CAD based techniques utilising parametric and scripted design methods within architecture he has offered unique solutions to innovative, sustainable building solutions. At present his focus lies in providing modular, mobile school buildings to migrant and refugee populations through a campaign he initiated with Building Trust.
