Associate Director, ORMS

Richard joined ORMS in 2005, was made an Associate in 2008 and Associate Director in 2010. While completing his diploma at Liverpool John Moores University he was selected as one of the Top 100 students in the country by Building Design Magazine. Richard’s focus within the practice is typically on the Education and Commercial sectors, his completed schemes include:
- A 30,000ft² major rebuild in Mayfair and the refurbishment of a 20,000ft² office in Hanover Square in 2006 and 2007.
- A new build Performing Arts Centre for Kings School Ely which has been shortlisted for an RIBA Award and a World Architecture Award.
- As part of a masterplan for Sherborne School a new build music school that was completed in 2010.
Currently Richard is managing several schemes including work for The American School in London, a new teaching building for Highgate School and a new build office building on Grosvenor Street. Richard also heads up the technical workshops and reviews at ORMS. Outside the office he is a Governor at Woodside School, Walthamstow.
