Gitte Andersen is a trained architect MAA form the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Building economics MDB, the founder, owner and CEO of SIGNAL and the creator of the mindset in SIGNAL of working with space as a strategic tool to reach new targets for end users. Besides her work in SIGNAL, Gitte Andersen teaches executives at CBS - Copenhagen Business School.
In 2010 Gitte Andersen was appointed “Innovation Champion” by the Danish Business Magazine BNY. And SIGNAL was selected one of the four most innovative companies in Denmark, specifically with reference to the development of the concept of "mental conversion". The concept of "mental conversion" focuses on how organizations can be developed without moving any walls or changing the physical environment, but only by challenging behavior and the use of space.
