Director
Tony is the director at Jestico + Whiles who looks after the higher and further education sectors. He is an architect with over 30 years’ experience, having worked in Canada, France and over 20 years in the UK. His wide ranging experience spans across housing, education, transport, cultural and master planning projects. He is skilled in leading large teams and dealing with complex, technically detailed projects. He was the Director in charge of the Mountbatten Building, the £55m Nanotechnology Research Centre at the University of Southampton, which won a 2009 RIBA Award. He also worked on the £17m refurbishment and extension to the Glen Eyre Hall, also for the University of Southampton. He is currently leading a team working on the £20m refurbishment and extension to a major teaching facility for the London School of Economics.
Tony is the director in charge of health and safety at the practice. He taught part time at the Bartlett and is guest critic at the Architectural Association.
