Kate Goodwin is the Drue Heinz Curator of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Arts. After completing her degree in architecture at the University of Sydney, she moved to London, taking up the position at the Royal Academy in August 2003. Within this role she has established and curated a diverse series of lectures, debates, events and exhibitions on architecture. She co-directed and produced the film Andrea Palladio through the eyes of contemporary architects, and authored the guide and introduction for teachers and students to the Royal Academy’s exhibition Andrea Palladio: His Life and Legacy. She curated the exhibition Paper City: Urban Utopias (2009), Relics of Old London: Photography and the spirit of the city (2010), and Constructed Landscapes (2011). She is author of Dandelion: the making of the UK pavilion (2011) a book about Thomas Heatherwick’s UK pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo.
