A freelance journalist and independent commentator on hotel design, Guy writes for a variety of publications including Wallpaper*, Condé Nast Traveller, Business Traveller, various UK and European newspapers and travel websites plus regularly contributing to Sleeper, the specialist hotel design magazine. A frequent speaker and moderator at various hotel design related events (The Sleep Event, London, Hospitality Interior Design Europe and Asia, the Deutsche Hotel Kongress, the International Hotel Conference) Guy also facilitates roundtable discussions for manufacturers to the industry such as Bang & Olufsen, Philips and Zumtobel, bringing his autonomy and wide-ranging knowledge of all sectors of the industry into play. Formerly the UK Managing Director of Design Hotels in London, Guy has been a continuous member of the European Hotel Design Awards jury since 2003.
