Claire German started her career in newspapers at The Independent and The Evening Standard before moving to Condé Nast Publications in 1991. She worked at Brides and, for nine years, as Publishing Director of House & Garden; joining the main board in 2002. In July 2010, she was appointed Managing Director of Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. The world’s leading design destination, it is the largest of its kind in Europe.
