Five winners selected in design competition for 'Healthy Homes' in Haiti

On the first anniversary of the devastating Haiti earthquake - 12th January 2011 - non-profit organisation ARCHIVE (Architecture for Health In Vulnerable Environments) will release detailed information on the five winning designs for its international housing design competition, ‘Kay e Santen an Ayiti’.

Working with AIDS organisation F.E.B.S, ARCHIVE challenged architects, engineers, health specialists and development experts across the globe to generate ideas for a sustainable shelter in Haiti to minimise the risk of disease transmission.

Details of the winning entries will be published in next week’s edition of News Review.
