Lord Coe accepts his RIBA Honorary Fellowship

Last night Lord Coe was presented with his Hononary Fellowship from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) at an informal ceremony with the RIBA President Ruth Reed. Lord Coe was made an RIBA Honorary Fellow in 2009 but was unable to attend the ceremony in February 2010 as it took place on the eve of the Montreal Winter Olympics. RIBA Honorary Fellowships reward the particular contributions people have made to architecture in its broadest sense: its promotion, administration and outreach; its role in building more sustainable communities; and its role in the education of future generations. The lifetime honour, conferred annually, allows recipients to use the initials Hon FRIBA after their name.
