RMJM close Philadelphia office

The harsh economic conditions we currently face are forcing more and more firms to make increasingly difficult decisions. Most recently hit is international architecture practice RMJM who, after taking time to review their east coast operations, have taken a ‘pragmatic approach’ and made the decision to permanently close their Philadelphia office. The move will see all non-core personnel relocated to a neighbouring office in Princeton as part of an ongoing move to consolidate the firm’s structure into a series of central hubs. With offices in New York, Princeton and Washington, RMJM has announced that they will retain their ‘strong commitment to the city [of Philadelphia]’ and will continue to source work from the area, mainly in the healthcare sector. The firm report that the announcement has received ‘a very good response’ from the employees affected and that no job cuts have been made.
