Cityscape is searching for a range of unique projects, in both the private and public sectors in the MENA region, to enter into their Cityscape Awards for Real Estate in the Middle East and North Africa. Group Director of Cityscape, Chris Speller, said: “Entries are to be judged on their contribution to world architectural culture, invention and imagination, respect for people, the planet, context, environmental awareness and relevance to the Middle East and North Africa.”

Categories in the Cityscape awards are, ‘Best Sustainable Development Award’, ‘Commercial, Office and Retail Project Award’, ‘Residential Project Award’, ‘Mixed Use Project Award’ and ‘Best Urban Design and Master Planner Award’.

Held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 18th-21st April 2010, the awards are held in conjunction with Cityscape Abu Dhabi and feature an esteemed judging panel of seventeen regional and international industry experts. They include, Dr Abdulgader Othman Amir, Vice President Jeddah Development and Urban Regeneration; Jeffery Willis, Chairman Emirates Green Building Council; Rashad Mohammed Bukhash, Director of Architectural Heritage Department, Dubai Municipality and Sultan Faden, Head of Founding Group, Saudi Green Building Council.
