NBWW selected to design new Hilton

Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates has been selected to design a 400-room Hilton hotel at the Palm Beach Convention Center. The proposed project was officially approved by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, March 9th.

NBWW partnered on the project with New York-based development firm The Related Companies, and a development team that includes Hilton Worldwide, Coastal Construction and Catafulmo Construction. The team was unanimously ranked first place after four groups presented proposed hotel development plans for the Palm Beach Convention Center to a County Selection Committee on February 12th.

The 15-storey hotel, featuring over 30 suites, will include direct access to the function areas of the existing Palm Beach Convention Center, in addition to a 12,000 sq ft ballroom and outdoor breakout spaces supplementing the convention centre’s facilities. The building faces the city centre with a large open plaza and becomes a transitional element between the high rise residential structures to the east and the convention centre to the west.
