Jean Tschumi drawings donated to MoMA

Bernard Tschumi has donated 43 of his late father Jean Tschumi's drawings to the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Works by the Swiss architect, who died in 1962 aged 57, are not on display anywhere else outside of Europe.

Half of the drawings are from Tschumi's Stockholm Master Plan project of 1932. The other half of the collection is comprised his Swiss Pavilion project from the Paris World's Fair in 1937, a selection of Door Handle sketches dating c. 1940-1955, the Sandoz Headquarters in Paris and the Nestle Headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland.

The drawings join over 7000 architecture and design exhibits held by the MoMA.
