Aedas is pleased to announce that Global Design Principal Frank McGoldrick will lead Aedas’ operations in Europe and the Middle East with immediate effect.
With over 29 years of professional experience in architecture, Frank, a registered architect in the UK and Hong Kong, plays a key leadership role in expanding and reinforcing Aedas’ strong presence in both established and emerging markets. In his new role, Frank will build on the strength of Aedas in delivering tailored solutions to its clients and industry partners.
“I’m very excited about the prospect of leading and working closely with our teams in Europe and the Middle East to further enhance Aedas’ standing as a leading global design architect,” said Frank.
Frank’s breadth of knowledge and understanding of the design and construction industry were gained from his extensive and valuable experiences in many sectors, having successfully led many major projects at Aedas. He also possesses unparalleled experience on mega-scaled projects encompassing integrated resorts, mixed-use and transport projects. His proven track record includes the successful delivery of major transport projects such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities, Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station, Singapore LTA Rail projects, Delhi Metro and Hong Kong International Airport.
Other significant mega-projects include all of Las Vegas Sands’ Macao Integrated Resorts encompassing over 40 million square feet and including The Venetian Macao, The Four Seasons Resort, The Parisian Macao and Sands Cotai Central. In addition to this, Frank was also Project Director for the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and Inspire Integrated Resort in Korea. For each project Frank played a key role in leading the entire consultancy team frequently collaborating with international design and engineering consultants from all over the world.
“My new role as leader for operations in Europe and the Middle East strongly underlines Aedas’ commitment to these regions as major design hubs within Aedas,” he added.
