Williams, Chipperfield and Hadid go head to head

Keith Williams, David Chipperfield and Zaha Hadid have all been shortlisted for the prestigious Public Building of the Year prize in the LEAF 2009 Awards.

Williams’ Wexford Opera House completed with the Office of Public Works in Ireland, is vying for the top award with Chipperfield’s Berlin Neues Museum, and Zaha Hadid’s Bridge Pavilion in Zaragoza. Westmeath County Offices, Ireland by Bucholz McElvoy and gpy arquitectos’ La Cisnera Community Centre, Tenerife complete the final list of 5.

The winner will be announced in Berlin on 4 September 2009.
