Winchester architects Househam Henderson from the UK are taking on a 750 mile cycling challenge. A group from the firm set off from Winchester Cathedral on Sunday 18th June. The volunteers will ride in relay and complete the challenge six days later in Berlin. On the way, the riders will be raising funds for two great charities, Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK and Kinderhilfe in Germany.
Both organisations support young cancer patients and their families and Househam Henderson are now close to reaching their target of £20,000 in donations. CEO Eddie Miles explains what the ride is all about: We are a longstanding Winchester business and 25 years ago we started to work on projects in Germany.
This lead to the founding of our Berlin office and we thought that linking the two offices with this challenging ride was a fitting way to celebrate our silver anniversary. I’m immensely proud of our staff and their hard work in organising the ride and raising funds for two worthy causes.
