Assael Architecture has best year ever and promotes four new directors

Assael had its best year ever, with turnover up 17% on 2015. Income for 2016 came in at £7,553,357 with a healthy profit averaging 17%, all in a year following major expansion into new studios in London.

Assael has also announced four director level promotions to support work in the UK and focus on new target sectors. The new directors have all been with the company for over nine years and are Dipa Joshi, who will focus on public sector work, Simon Pitt, who will assist with project delivery and Tim Chapman-Cavanagh who is leading on design, supported by newly promoted Operations Director, John Pearse.

This follows further significant investment into the launch of an interior design division, Assael Interiors, visualisation and building information modelling (BIM) capabilities together with training for staff to meet the anticipated demand in these technologies.

John Assael, Chairman of Assael Architecture, said: “After another year of successful growth in which we expanded into new offices, launched an interiors division and secured many new commissions, we’re delighted to announce these important promotions to support our expansion plans and take on the exciting challenges ahead.”
