PERKINS+WILL TAPS DAVID OH TO LEAD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PRACTICE AREA

Perkins+Will, a leading international architecture and design firm focusing on a broad range of work for commercial, public, academic, healthcare and institutional clients, has announced the addition of David H. Oh to lead the firm’s Science and Technology practice area. Oh will expand Perkins+Will’s reputation as a leader in designing spaces that reflect the highly specialized needs of research, industry, science and technology.

“Perkins+Will is dedicated to bringing the very highest level of expertise to our clients,” said Eric Aukee, Principal and Managing Director of Perkins+Will Los Angeles. “David brings decades of experience in laboratory and other technology-focused design to our firm and will be able to offer unmatched guidance to clients in research, tech, biotech, medicine and everything in-between.”

An architectural designer for 30 years, Oh is a recognized leader in advanced technology, biotech, biomedical, telecommunications and data center projects. Oh most recently directed Science, Technology and Workplace at Little Diversified Architectural Consulting. His fields of expertise include design, planning, project management and leadership, construction management and quality control and assurance.

“As an  architectural designer and client engagement leader working in science and technology, it’s crucial not only to be engaged in listening and responding to client needs, but collaborate with the scientists and technologists who will actually use the space in order to deliver final products that work for the client,” said Oh. “I look forward to bringing that same approach to my work at Perkins+Will.

Oh joins Perkins+Will at a time of growth for the Los Angeles office, which recently expanded its healthcare practice through the additions of healthcare experts Anthony Mistretta and Lynne Ingle.
