Artelia has appointed Mick Youens as Project Director of Hotel and Leisure

Artelia the international multi-specialist project management and engineering firm has appointed Mick Youens as Project Director of Hotel and Leisure. Mick’s appointment reinforces Artelia’s position as professional services leaders in this field, where current contracts include The Savoy, Sheraton Heathrow and The Oval.

Mick joins Artelia with a wealth of design and project management experience. A registered architect with 20 years of practice, Mick specialises in the international luxury hotel, leisure and residential sector.

Qualifying originally in Berlin, Germany, he worked on projects including the renovation of the historic Hamburg ‘Levantehaus’ into a five star Park Hyatt hotel.  On his return to London Mick gained unparalleled experience in hotel design, project management and contract administration for large London hotel projects including the multi-million pound rebuilding and refurbishment of the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane and The Savoy, managing everything from the building contract through to the introduction of an entirely new infrastructure. More recently Mick directed the co-ordination and implementation of the design for Sea Containers House.
