CLERKENWELL POPUP INSTALLATION BY NEW ARCHITECTURE COLLECTIVE

Katalog, a unique collective of architects and designers, to create a scenographic installation of products during London Festival of Architecture in central London.

Katalog's first show will be held over six days from 23rd to 28th June at The Gallery in Craft Central Clerkenwell and will showcase new creative projects by a group of designers united by a shared background in architecture.  The exhibition is aimed at design and craft lovers, creatives and professionals living and working in London.

The diverse body of work, which will feature furniture, interior accessories, prints and jewellery, is underpinned by formal architectural training and informed by the London urban environment. The first exhibition will feature designs by Hokolo, Kreisdesign, Supermarché Studio, Oscar Francis, studio sanshea, Ching Chin Jewellery, AVAjewellery and GN Jewellery.

The concept of the Katalog collective is the brainchild of Jen Taylor of Hokolo: "Each designer is inspired by architecture in their practice. We share a distinctive design approach and aesthetic. Our first show will transform The Gallery into a habitable room set with a wall of suspended products. It is hoped the show will be as inspiring to architecture professionals as the wider general public."
