Mouzhan Majidi to join Zaha Hadid Architects

Former Chief Executive at Foster + Partners Mouzhan Majidi will be joining Zaha Hadid Architects from spring 2015. Having enjoyed 27 years at Foster + Partners - 7 of which at the post of Chief Executive - Majidi will be relocating to work closely with Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher.

"I am delighted that Mouzhan will be joining us," said Zaha Hadid. "He brings a unique balance of strong management and leadership skills with architectural and design sensitivity that is so important to our creative studio."

"I am very excited to join Zaha Hadid Architects next year, and very much look forward to working with Zaha, Patrik and the team to contribute to the company’s continued success,” said Mouzhan Majidi. “I have always admired the innovation and beauty of their work and its growing global impact. It’s a privilege to be part of this amazing team."

In February 2014, it was reported that Mouzhan Majidi had stepped down from his position of Chief Executive at Foster + Partners. This decision was allegedly influenced by a restructuring of the firm, replacing the CEO position with that of Managing Partner.
