Willem van Genugten appointed Associate Director at (Designed by) Erick van Egeraat BV

Willem van Genugten, born and educated in the Netherlands, graduated as architect from Technical University of Delft in 2001 and joined Erick van Egeraat’s office in 2002. From the beginning of his career, Willem has been predominantly involved in Russian projects. In September 2005, Willem permanently moved to Russia, where he was instrumental in establishing, expanding and managing the Moscow office.

Since 2009 Willem has been based in Rotterdam from where he is involved in the design, management and construction of several international projects and competitions, such as Sberbank Corporate University (Moscow Region), De Kuip Footbal Stadium and Masterplan (Rotterdam) and the the Udarnik Contemporary Art Centre (Moscow). This has allowed Willem van Genugten to apply and expand his interest in keeping high design standards in a challenging international context.
