Designs for Grozny City 2 have been presented by Alexander Zusik and Vladimir Travush. Local reports state that the design team presented their concept to Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic. The Grozny City 2 project covers 19 hectares and includes the 400m-high Akhmat Tower with 50m-high halls and a 600m long gallery.
The scheme also incorporates a museum to the first Chechen President Akhmat-Hadji Kadyrov, 100 residential apartment units, a 500-room hotel, fitness centres, swimming pools, office units and various restaurants. Zusik and Travush are working in collaboration with the Central Institute for Constructions, the Research Institute of Fundamentals and the Institute for Armored Concrete on the scheme.
