Land development plan for business park near Warsaw Chopin Airport due in third quarter of 2014

Arup and Polish Airports State Enterprise have commenced work on a detailed land development plan for a 22.5ha business district near Warsaw Chopin Airport. The plan is expected in the third quarter of 2014 with work on the project due to start in 2015. In total, the business complex will comprise 17 office buildings of 8 storeys, covering 13.27ha and offering 170,000 sq m of floor space.

Aleksandra Matuszewska, Project Head of Chopin Airport City said of the development plan: “Once the entire process is completed, we will be able to start preparing the area for the erection of the first office buildings.”

Referring to the holding company established to manage the project she continued: “This way we have full control over a project of key importance to our company and the implementation process will be made more efficient. We are currently working out details regarding the establishment of the company and assumptions for the business plan and financial forecasts.”
