$1million Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2013 shortlist revealed

The 2013 Aga Khan Award for Architecture shortlist has been announced with a press preview (to be attended by WAN) scheduled for tomorrow in London, where several of the architects on the final tally will present their projects to awaiting journalists.

The award - which carries a $1m prize fund - is presented to projects that display high quality design and improve the quality of life of the building’s users. A ceremony will be held in September 2013 to announce the 5 or 6 winners of the 2013 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

-Mohammed VI Football Academy, Salé, Morocco
