International Conference on Building Information Modeling (BIM) Methodology in Portugal, 20-21 June

The 1st International Conference on Building Information Modeling (BIM) Methodology will be held on 20-21 June 2013 in Oporto, Portugal. This event is the result of a cooperation of BIMFórum Portugal, BIM working Group (GTBIM) and Portuguese Technology Platform of Construction (PTPC) and promotes the competitiveness of the construction industry sector.

Under the theme ‘A Paradigm Shift’, the conference aims to present the major international players in the industry and receive BIM top experts.

The conference aims to bring together key researchers and professionals of the construction industry from diverse countries to share experiences, developments, trends and prospects in this field. It is planned to present internationally renowned experts, as well as industry leaders to explore this current topic.

The event will last two days with strategic and technical sessions. Socialization and networking moments will be promoted between professionals in order to share knowledge and enhance business opportunities prospection.

All information about the event can be found at www.bimforum.com.pt and attendees are invited to actively participate in the conference by submitting an ‘Extended Abstracts’ until 8 April. Entries submitted by 12 April for conference program or social networking will enjoy a reduced registration fee.
