ATP’s Technology Centre for Vienna Business Agency achieves extremely high energy standards

Architecture and Engineering firm ATP has completed Austria’s first plus energy office building in the future Seestadt Aspern in Vienna. Seestadt Aspern is the new Innovation District for Research and Development. ATP’s Technology Centre for Vienna Business Agency has a highly intelligent architectural design which uses green concrete and facades with reeds for an improved microclimate.

The building envelope is airtight with triple glazing and 26cm-thick thermal insulation which aids the sustainability credentials. To this end the project has been awarded both the klima:aktiv quality mark and OGNI certification, achieving 944 out of 1,000 marks). Blind control also enables optimal sunshine throughout the day whilst protecting from the heat.
