Denari prevails in Keelung Harbor competition

Neil M. Denari Architects (NMDA) has been named the winner in an international competition to design the new Keelung Harbor Service Building in Tawain’s major port city of Keelung.

Denari’s Los Angeles based practice prevailed over the finalist teams of Platform for Architecture +Research (USA) and Series et Series (France); ACDF* Architecture (Canada), Macanoo Architecten (The Netherlands), and Asymptote Architecture and Artech Inc. (ROC).

The goal of the two-stage competition, which was juried by Michael Speaks and Aaron Betsky from the US and Taiwanese architects and professionals Tsai Yuan-Liang, Jin Guan-Yu, Su Yu-Jer, Wan Ming-Hen, and Wei Si-Jen is to design a landmark and gateway for the city.
