Four children killed in sports centre collapse

Winds of more than 100km/hr over the weekend caused the collapse of a sports centre near Barcelona, killing four children. Aged between 9 and 12 years the children were part of junior baseball team in Sant Boi , where the incident occurred, and where in the baseball court when the winds ripped the metal roof off an adjacent building causing a breeze block wall to collapse onto the court. Local authorities said that a further 7 children and two adults were injured.
